Maryland is not specified, the minimum age for driving the ship. You have to old enough to understand the operation of ships, safety, follow the safety courses and vessel of the exam preparation. You need 16 years to operate a personal watercraft (jet skis) on. Around 14 years are able, some not.
Maryland Boating Safety Education Act requires that on or after 1 July 1972 must possess a certificate of training for maritime safety during operation of a number or a vessel documented Born waters of Maryland.
